looking for Underwater videographers and photographers for fresh water dives across the US. I am working with the Center for Land Use interpretation on an exhibit of communities submerged under reservoirs. We are seeking photographs and video footage of what ruins remain under water for these locations: towns under the TVA reservoirs, Blue Marsh under Blue Marsh Lake, towns under New York water supply both east and west of the Hudson, town under Quabbin Reservoir, and others. I prefer (right now) fresh water diving in springs, and am beginning work on a comprehensive Florida watersports book for swimmers, divers and snorkelers. Could use a dive buddy to accompany me to every spring and ocean dive listed in Ned DeLoach's Underwater Florida book, as well as a good number that aren'the listed there at all! Usually I camp out on a Saturday night and dive both Saturday and Sunday--but that is flexible. I just find it helps when you're worn out from a day of driving AND diving:) My assistant and I have been going to quite a few spots this summer, but he may not be able to continue. I am 42 and have been diving for 11 years - over 400 dives. I don't dive in New York City, so diving for me is always travel: from Rhode Island or Lake George to the Red Sea. Professionally I am an attorney specializing in international corporate finance. My particular area of expertise is Russia and the former Soviet Union. I speak three foreign languages: French, German and Russian.
