DIVING AND Snorkeling IN BALI (5 pages) Along with our daily dive and snorkel excursions we also organize night diving, dive- + snorkel safaris of two or more days in and around Bali (Lombok + Manado). Our first dive base (more of a communication center) is in Kuta (Southern Bali). Unfortunately there are no good divesites in the South so we opened our second dive base in Tulamben (Eastern Bali). The resort is only about 150m from a famous Ship Wreck. Bali offers you a lot of treasures  We believe that one of them is Bali's Underwater world. There are many unspoiled reefs to discover as well as fantastic drop offs, beautiful caves, exciting drift areas and even an old ship wreck, USAT Liberty, a relict of the second World War (torpedoed in 1942 by Japanese). Tauch Terminal Bali has arranged many trips for people who would like to see Bali's Underwater beauties. It does not matter whether you are a professional diver, beginner, snorkler or just someone who wants to try scuba diving. As we don`t want to separate divers and snorklers, we have created tours which are enjoyable for all participants. All our dive trips are guided by Divemasters and Scuba Instructors. HERE A SMALL DESCRIPTION OF RECOMMENDED DIVESITES: Biaha (Barbecue) We drive to Padang Bai (Eastbali) by car and then by boat to a lonely beach at the East Coast. The divers dive around a rock close to the beach. Around the rock there is both hard and soft coral to a depth of 30 m. There are also a lot of Ornamental fish, Lionfish, Napoleons, Lobster and small reefsharks. A highlight is the cave with sleeping reef sharks Non-Divers can snorkel, swimm and sunbathe on the sandbeach. Between the dives we all have a beach BBQ . Amed This place boasts the largest coral gardens and the best hard coral varieties in Bali. The drop off has excellent number of varieties of fish. This dive site is for both professionals and beginners. There are also many Pufferfish, Napoleons, Clownfish and much more besides. Tulamben Liberty Shipwreck - This ship was torpedoed during World War Two by the Japanese. It is situated directly at the beach in a depth of 4 to 29 meters. There is a good growth of encrusting animals on the wreck. Drop Off - In Tulamben there is also a wonderful drop off, consisting fantastic corals growing along the wall from 8-18 m. There is also a tremendous variety of fish and sponges (large barrel, tube, vase and encrusting sponges). Menjangan The Nationalpark in Northwestbali. A protected and wonderful Underwater world. Highlights such as turtles start as shallow as 3 meters. It mainly comprises rugged walls and a plateau around the island with a big variety of fish. Nusa Penida +Lembongan The best adventure you can have in Bali. Most of the dive sites are drift dive areas with walls, bizarre Underwater world and untouched reefs. Drift diving is not for beginners, experience is necessary (current up to 4 knots). At these dive spots you can discover manta rays, turtles, sharks and also lager species like the Mola Mola (sunfish). Manta Tour A meeting with breathtaking manta rays - for many divers a dream, for 'old hands' always a wild affair. During this trip to the north of Nusa Penida we frequently see mantas. WE OFFER SAFARIS AS WELL Dive and Snorkel Trip A (7 Days / 6 Nights) Day 1 Afternoon pick up from your hotel and bus transfer from the South of Bali to the Southeast to Candi Dasa (1,5 hrs). Check in the hotel and in the evening meeting with the staff. 1. Night in Candi Dasa Day 2 Pick up from your hotel and bus transfer (1 ¾ hrs) to P.Bai (South East of Bali). From P. Bai harbor we take a 5 min. boat ride to the Blue Lagoon, Huntsville, Texas. There we enjoy the first 2 dives and the Snorkeling. In the afternoon back by boat and then 15 min. car ride to Candi Dasa. Check in and later have dinner in Candi Dasa. 2. Night in Candi Dasa Day 3 From Candi Dasa to Padang Bai by car (15 Min.) and there we use our "Balinese Speedboat" to go to Biaha (50 Min.) Barbecue-Tour. In the afternoon back to Padang Bai and transfer to our hotel in Candi Dasa. 3. Night in Candi Dasa Day 4 In the morning check out from Candi Dasa and go to the harbor of Padang Bai. A 60 Min. boat- ride brings us to the islands Penida and Lembongan. In the afternoon we return to the harbor and take 1 hour car ride to Tulamben in the Northeast of Bali. Check-in + dinner in Tulamben. 4. Night in Tulamben Day 5 The snorklers and divers can discover the wreck of Tulamben, even night diving is possible. Dinner in Tulamben. 5. Night in Tulamben Day 6 Day in Tulamben where you can have a wonderful coral wall dive as well. In the afternoon by car to the North of Bali to Lovina. In Banjar we visit the Hot and Holy Springs of Banjar. Hotel check-in and dinner in Lovina (Kalibukbuk). 6. Night in Lovina Day 7 We reach the island Menjangan (Bali National Park). After 2 dives we go back to the mooring and then back to Kuta. Afterwards individual programs . Non Divers get a 30 % reduction on the above prices unless otherwise stated. DIVING IN LOMBOK Lombok ( translated, means Chili ) is Bali's neighbor. It is nearly as big as Bali, but you will fine that only a small part is visited by tourists. Senggigi in the Shout west, is the main holiday location, with hotels established there quite along time. If you look further you will fine something for you, the individual traveler, the enthusiastic diver, in the shape of the "Gili Isles". They are three, lovely, small islands, approx. One hour by boat from Senggigi, just waiting to be discovered. In the rich Underwater world you will find a wonderful array of hard and soft corals, Gorgonien fans, fields of Anemone, Turtles, Squid, Octopus, stingrays and Manta and Shark are also often seen. What we are able to offer is a 3 day/2 nights dive safari on the island of " Gili Air ". Day 1 Collect from your hotel and transfer to airport. You will board am flight to Mataram, duration 20 minutes, where somebody will be waiting to welcome you. After a 65 minutes car journey you will board our boat for a 25 minutes to Gili Air. Upon Arrival an English speaking instructor will great you and bring you to the hotel Gili Air. When everyone is ready we will make our first dive. ( There are sixteen different dive spots waiting to be checked out ) After a leisurely surface interval we will make the second dive. As the day turn into evening we could all meet up at one of the restaurants, located directly on the beach, have dinner together, and discuss the days experiences. Over night in Gili Air Hotel. Day 2 After breakfast, off we go again !! Diving in the morning, diving in the afternoon and to round off a good day we will do a night dive. In between we have time to relax, swim, snorkel, walk round the island, or simply watch the palm trees waving in the breeze. Overnight accommodation in the Gili air Hotel Day 3 Until 11 am you are free in the room, after which you will be brought back to Lombok.
