Ola, I am an advanced diver (PADI). I have been diving since 1987. My experience includes cold water, deep diving, altitude diving, river diving, night diving, and wall diving. Typically I dive anywhere between Salt Point, and the Channel Islands and from Tahoe to the Pacific. I like to dive at least once a month. Eventually I would like to do some dive vacations in the pacific, and Caribbean.
I enjoy a challenge, but I am NOT looking for anyone macho, or anyone out to prove a point. Ideally I would like to find someone who is safety conscious, and someone who is comfortable with their diving abilities.

I freedrive, 99% on the surface, and can't go deeper than about 8-10 feet because of an old war injury to my ears. But I have a Mares 48" air gun with reel and free dive along the coast for Halibut and other good eating fish. I have handicapped plates and always can get into any State Park for free and parking is always close to the showers and heads. I usuall fish from Scripps Pier north to Torrrey Pines State Beach, Calsbad State Beach, and willing to try new spots. I swim 10-20 miles per day when I go, but I watch the tides. Scripps pier has the trench that starts 300 feet at the end of the pier and goes straight down, game fish come out of the canyon and you would be suprised at the size of some of the fish I have seen and shot. My target fish are halibat and corbina, bass, yellowtails, and leopard sharks.

I was certified as a Dive Master on Oct 4th in Okinawa Japan. All my diving has been done there. I will be new to the San Diego area
On Oct 21 1998 for Navy health and sciences school. I would like to dive in San Diego, I figure this would be a good way to contact ppl. I
would also like to become an instructor someday. As of Oct 4th 1998 I have 157 logged dives. All my Certifications are with PADI. I have my own gear
except tanks, and it should arrive in San Diego around Nov. I might need to invest in a better Scuba Diving Texas Open Water. Okinawa Japan water temp is a
cool 88 degress. Winter time maybe 68. jealous?? anyway I would like to dive with a person who has some experince in diving the waters of San diego.
